Piers Corbyn and the pestilent child within
Photo from a previous date.
On Saturday 6th of March Piers Corbyn (the older less successful brother of Jeremy Corbyn) was arrested once again. He was out and about at Richmond Green in London when he was first given a Fixed Penalty fine. But as he proved that his inner pestilent child was not to be dissuaded, he was eventually arrested once again.
Seemingly proud of his behaviour, once release he went on to Facebook to boast about it. But it didn’t go unnoticed that his begging for “Donations” is becoming more and more desperate. Come on… how much does it really cost to buy batteries for a loud hailer and a few thousand flyers?
A quick google search and we found that 3000 A5 flyers printed both sides would cost (delivered) £47.00 – So why does he have to beg for £thousands?
The reality is that the suckers who do donate, are actually funding his retirement, that’s all.
His insistence that he is getting a “great response” in the streets is not actually borne out by reality. On the odd occasion that he has posted a video of himself campaigning, the camera is carefully not swung around to the “audience”. And why is that you may ask?. Well it is because the person holding the camera is really quite lonely, and all it would actually show is a few passers by looking a bit bemused at the shouty old man.
So, our advice to anyone who is looking to donate a few spare pounds that them may have, is to select on of the bona fide charities that you will find at this link and don’t get scammed into funding the life of a shouty old man.
